ART: Just some placeholder art from here IDEA: AD TienzuStorm NOTES: Acts as a mass lobotomy and also makes use of Life's swarming tactics to give more healing. Might have to rebalance HP gain to prevent this from somehow outclassing other healing spells (specifically things like Heal and Holy Light). Immaterial creatures? Not sure how it should react, I'd say it won't be affected since that's how other AoE cards interact with it. Anyways, yeah. Pretty self explanatory. CHANGES: 8/30/15 - Changed name from Lamb's Own | Lamb's Own to Altruism | Altruism - Raised cost of upped from 7 to 8 and made it only affect your creatures - Changed the health gain for both to 10 HP - Raised cost of sacrifice from 0 to 1 - Added placeholder art

Nice soft CC for life that makes use of it's cheap creatures.

I like the card mechanic... Thematically its an odd fit in life though. Sacrificing creatures for health seems like a darkness thing... or the self sacrifice theme would sit better in light. The mass ability wipe part does work well mechanically for life, however, since it is an element that will do very well in a raw stats race.

Yeah, it was originally in Darkness, but I switched to Life because

A) Darkness is powerful enough, and for that reason I don't like designing cards for it
B) Life would benefit the most from this kind of card due to Life's sheer amount of creatures
C) Life also would appreciate soft CC and this is a nice effect in my opinion, since it doesn't necessarily kill anything, it's the owner's own "badness" that kills the creatures (I suppose this could work well in Death what with Skeleton spamming and Afla to an extent... Meh)

That's also why the name isn't well thought out (I usually make theme first, but if I switch elements, I have to remake themes).

I like it, but I feel like the upgraded version should only affect you. Kind of like the Pandemonium effect, where its upgraded, it only affects the opponents side..

Am I the only one that feels that?

Yes, and maybe reduce to 10 for both, instead of 15/20
