EDIT: On the status issue, I think that if the damage taken is over one, the status of the original Undine would be transferred, but not the amount of status. This limits the Poison fractalling to two copies. (On the first turn at least. More would come.)

Also something to consider: If Undine is damaged by status, might that status be decreased by one or removed? It's thematic with the 'splitting water drop' theme.

As for status, the problem I saw with transferring status was how badly it could be [potentially] abused.  With the addition of Dessication, it wouldn't be an issue to make an Adrena deck that rivals frogs, especially if it will also carry over Momentum and stuff.  But at second glance, the quanta balance seems questionable, so it really has no merit thus far.

Somehow I had read the card as spawning a new Undine with no status effects and 2|3 attack (exactly the same as if played from hand) when damaged. That is (for upped version):

3|8 Undine + Lightning --> 3|3 Undine and new 3|5 Undine
3|8 Undine + Rage Potion --> 8|3 Undine and new 3|5 Undine
6|11 Undine (previously blessed or something) + Lightning --> 6|6 Undine and new 3|5 Undine

Makes it easier to figure out at least. Plus, it doesn't turn any damage spell into an automatic PU.

What if only negative statuses transfered (poison, freeze, stun, etc)? Could be a way to help balancing.

Which reminds me, will the skill still function when frozen and stunned? That will have a big impact on balancing I think.

The way Freeze/Delay works, it would probably work when Undine is delayed, but not when it is frozen.

Speaking of delay, BB + CC on Undine or something?  Or Dessi and SoPa...

I think a simple solution to most problems is to just maintain attack for both standard and upgraded versions of the card at 2, while insisting that statuses be copied to any Undine it may generate, though HP may have to be dropped to a certain point.

I'm worried that there would be abuse of this in MonoWater now.  With SoPa and Dessication, there's nothing really stopping an early one.  Maybe increase costs to 3?

I like the concept of this card, with the lower attack it looks also quite balanced, even though I'm not sure if I understood the mechanics related copying statusses right and if there may not be single aspects not considered.
So basically e.g. if this gets poisoned (lets say -1) it would produce a copy being also poisoned (1|5 -> 1|4 * 2)? And in the next turn both would produce a copy so you'll have (1|4 -> 1|3 * 4) and then (1|3 -> 1|2 * 8 ). Is that how it would work?
