This weapon places the targeted cards into the bottom of the owner's deck rather than the top. You don't see the opponent's hand cards.

It should also be better in not-time-aligned decks for antideckout. Yes, I'd like to see eternity-style rainbow controls become good again.

What does the name have to do with the card?

How is this too much different than Eternity other than deck placement?

It is quite a bit different from Eternity. If enemy keeps his hand empty, he can't be targeted by this effect. It is interesting with nightmare (although not particularly effective) because it will pollute the enemy's deck with useless cards. I think it is strongest with Shard of Bravery, which assures a 1 card advantage for  :aether :aether.

I think it is well balanced; if anything, slightly expensive.

This would be cool if it triggered discard mechanics... Would make a nice combo with GoTP then. Eg:
"Weapon: Deal 5 damage at the end of every turn.
   : Put target hand card back in its owner's deck."

This weapon would also work well with Mindgate and nightmare. (nightmare + this + mindgate)
It could also be useful in conjunction with shard of bravery.

At any rate, I like this card a lot. It will effectively force the opponent to use cards as they draw them or risk a rewind stasis...

My only gripe is that it may step on time's toes in terms of card advantage and deck lockdown a little bit.

I really like this card; it's right up my playstyle.  (plus, I hate lobotomizer for some reason, so this would go in like every aether deck I have)  I'm just wondering if it should have a different element for either the cost or activation, to keep such a powerful card from being usable in a mono.  (c.f. pulverizer)
