Canonical quartet capstone card

Entropy seems like the best element for a card that spawns lots of random(ish) cards to the owner's hand.

It only generated cardinal cards, so it will be distinct in function from shard of serendipity.

Creatures with momentum or psionic (spell damage) traits will not trigger the shield.

The shield only generates cards when it is struck, so the owner will need to balance defense with card generation.
The weapon will only generate cards if it actually strikes the opponent. Essentially, this means that 'missed' attacks (e.g. due to fog, phase shield, etc) will not count as strikes. All other shield interactions (absorb, damage reduce, block) will still result in card generation.

The weapon will cap out at 10 damage. The shield caps out at 84% evasion.

Since the shield can end up causing draw lock, it can double as an anti-deckout measure in a pinch.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

Both interesting but it doesn't seem right that the Shield is the upgrade of the Sword - they are after all very different cards.

It does nerf how many of each you could have in a deck if you wanted both, but I doubt you'd want to run more than 3 of each in a deck anyway (possibly 4 of the Shield, I suppose).
Like reading? Here's a story inspired by Elements, City of Alchemy. :)

It does help limit the combo of having both a bit.
The shield and sword certainly make a strong pair. Enough that I was worried about how strong the animate weapon combo would be.
This way if you wanted 2 of the shields (as is usual to get a decent draw chance) then you would only be able to get 4 of the weapon.

Thematically i find it pretty cool and i support the idea that weapons can turn into shield.
But i can understand UndeadSpider1990 worries that it might break the traditional way of cards types.
