That would be pretty cool.
Its fairly distinct from scorpions in the respect that it doesn't always poison the opponent, but it also does not need a damage boost to gain the effect (as most scorpions do).
This also makes it useful without a forced duo.
Dropping the maul damage to 2 is definitely good as well.
More efficient than dust moth, but not as good as owl's eye.
I think that should make it all around more distinct from other cards in the game.
