Canonical quartet capstone card.
The material quartet ( ) has a good thematic connection with alchemy. Not only because of water, but because the concept of alchemy deals with manipulation of physical (material) elements.
The connection of these cards with the other material elements is more thematic than mechanics based but it will synergy very well with the other material themed cards in this series.
The term 'transmute' means to change a card into an alchemy card of the corresponding element. In the case of a card, the element would be picked at random.
For the shield, if the transmute effect increases the number of alchemy cards in the owner's hand, the shield will get to absorb an extra attack (e.g. the next attack if there is one).

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
