Canonical quartet capstone card

Semi vanilla card that gains its stats based on the quanta that is used to construct it.

Since ATK seems to be the more important of the two stats,
-The unupgraded version caps out at 10|0 for 2 :water and 4 absorbed :fire ... of course that means it dies after its first attack.
-The upgraded version caps out at 14|1 for 3 :water and 4 :fire

While those stats are fairly impressive, obtaining them would take a good deal of effort since you would have to ensure that you had exactly 2 / 3 :water and at least 3 / 4 :fire
They would also be very vulnerable to CC in either case.

Feeding a mix of quanta will yield more balanced golems.

If the player does not have sufficient quanta for the creature to absorb, it will absorb as much as it can and provide the appropriate stats.
This has the added bonus of making the casting cost 'flexible', although it will likely be somewhat underpowered in those cases.

You misunderstood the wording... its a bit confusing, i'll admit, but I am staying as close as possible to the wording on the current Material pillar that is in place in Cygnia right now.

You only absorb a TOTAL of up to 3 / 4 additional quanta. (NOT 3 to 4 each)
E.g. 2 :air and 1 :fire or 1 :water , 1 :fire , and 1 :earth .. etc.
The highest the ATK can go is 14 for the upgraded version where you pay 3 :water absorb 3 :fire and get a 14|1. This is still weaker than the highest attack :fire creature (crimson dragon) and is slightly more fragile.

Check out how the quartet pillars are implmented in cygnia. This is just the absorb (reverse) version of the production mechanic.
E.g. "produce 2 :air :earth :fire :water " means: "Produce 2 quanta each of which is randomly chosen from among :air , :earth , :fire , or :water "

It's a water card, so the deck using it definitely has :water . And water's effect has no nerf, which is a great touch. (unless, as mentioned, it's played using the last two :water )

I'd really like to make some sort of calculations as to the chances of each outcome of HP and ATK. But that'd take forever, probably.

To be totally honest - so far I think some of your canon quartet series have seemed rather convoluted, but I really like this one
