Yeah some active players should really pass those bums in the top 3 that haven't played in a while.  : P

My biggest suggestion for the next season is to redo the points system.  There needs to be a difference between a 2 - 0 win and a split match of 2 - 1.  Also I believe players should get at least a point just for participation.  I doubt it is any fun to see yourself with a losing record in Beginners League and also ranked last even below people who have never played a game.  So I'd go with something like each win is worth 2 points, and you get at least 1 point for participation.
eg.
plastiqe vs [you]
2 - 0
(I'd get 4 points and you'd get 1 point)

[you] vs plastiqe
2 - 1
(You'd recieve 4 points and I'd recieve 2 points)

I also think the duration of the league should be shorter, change it to 2 months?

More of a personal suggestion here but I'd like to see a little more detail in reporting matches.  I know I played some really fun matches this season but the only record are the impersonal score reports.  I'm gonna flesh things out next time and write up little play by plays.  I think as long as the score is clearly stated for the person who is updating the results it should be fine, and it'll be more fun to read about later on.

yes, a 2-1 should be different from a 2-0 and a participation point might be good for beginners league.

Also, you need to report our match, seeing as that is apparently the winners responsibility.

AND i think we should only count matches against ppl, who played at least 10 matches, for example, so you dont get a favour from playing to someone who only plays one or two games, but that will be hard to organize.

I respectfully disagree with Ant here.  I know there were quite a few 2 - 1 matches I played where the final game was won or lost on the last card.  When you play a close game like that I think you deserve more points than when you get blown out 2- 0.  And it would serve to reinforce the mentality of "at least I was able to take one game and didn't get swept" which is a good thing.

I guess you're talking about not counting points from these games at the end of the season?  I dunno, seems that a match is a match, shouldn't matter how active somebody was.  The problem is we got a lot of league signups this season but there weren't many players playing.  My goal with these suggestions is to get more people actively involved.  I think if you change the system from only rewarding winning to rewarding participation and performance that's be a big step in the right direction.

There are three pages with people commenting on the wiki now, it would be a whole lot simpler if all matches were reported in one spot, and all league signups were reported in another. 

I propose there be a league signup thread here on the forums (so people actually have to be forum members to join leagues).  This would contain all the rules and everything you need to know before you join.  Then there should be one, and only one page for reporting matches on the wiki.

I know I said a match is a match earlier but I've changed my mind.  I see people spamming in a bunch of wins to get on the scorecard now as the season ends and I dun like it.  New Rule:  You can only play against a player once per day.
