Elements PVP League 2/2018 - Announcements

A few rulechanges need to happen, so I'd like a few more opinions on that matter before going ahead. Even if we start immediately this will be the last league that completely happens in this year (having another start this year would be possible technically) and it will likely go into war and trials so I'm thinking about making this one extra long.

In summary: The requirement for leaguegames to be eligible for prizes will be lowered, max 10 games vs the same player will be replaced by limiting number of games vs the same player to 50% of your total games this league. Other possible additions could be some form of postseason and contribution rewards for the most active players.

I'm especially curious about how long you want leagues to be.

Since I dont get any new feedback these will be the rules going ahead:

- Maximum matches you can play vs the same opponent changed to 50% of all your matches played this league. If by the end of the league either player has played over half their matches versus the same player the excess matches will be voided (for both players), starting from the most recent match.
-Matches required reduced to 8-14, each extra match unlocking a shot at a higher prize tier for you (8 making you eligible to obtain 7th prize, 10 games the foil chimera code from 5th place(can be a shard if you really want), 14 for everything). Obviously, between the people with enough games the deciding factor will still be their Elo-Rating.
- In addition to other rewards there will be a "Contribution reward". Between the 3 people that played the most matches one will be chosen at random to obtain a Markcode. This will be decided by a 1d3 dice in chat, where 1 stands for the player with the most matches (2 2nd most, 3 3rd most).
- Duration will be set to the standard 3 months, I retain the right to extend whenever I please, but don't count on it, so get those games in!

I will start League on Thursday or Friday, make sure you get your feedback in until then.

Good news everyone! For the first time in quite a long while all prizes will actually get awarded, as enough players have played over 15 matches. In fact, at the pace things are moving, 7 players will probably easily even reach the old treshhold!

Please dont make any post in the current (or a future one for that matter) league topic , unless it includes a scoreline of a match you were part of that hasnt been reported before. Each post in there is assumed to be a matchreport, so it will take the first 2 user tags, assume the first one is the winner, second one loser. If it cant find usertags it will rereport the previous match, but assume its a different one and thus count it double.
So for anything that doesnt report a new scoreline use general discussion or chat, otherwise your comment will be deleted.

This league season has ended! All prizes will be awarded this time and for the first time in a long while in order of actual ranking.
Fun facts: If we required 30 matches as per original rules we'd have to go down to 25th place (20 matches: 10th place) to find people that qualified.
mathman101 and PlayerOa only qualify due to the tiering rule (for lower prizes) for their rewards.

The last respective games of malthussk vs Vindilos and Monox D. I-Fly vs. ARTHANASIOS will be omited from final scoring (affecting the scores of all 4 players), as they violate the rule that no more than 50% of your matches may be against the same person. This will make no difference for final placements (and contribution prize)- this time! Make sure you keep that in mind for future seasons.

The Contribution Prize Die has chosen Jen-i (3rd most games) this time.

I would appreciate some feedback and some time to award prizes etc. so the next season will start with the start of the next month presumably (which is sooner than that may sound).
