I can't help wondering now whether maybe I really was ahead of you before that last game and could've had first by just not logging in yesterday :p I think it was really close; if memory serves, when two players of equal rating play in ELO, 10 points are won/lost, so with a 23 point difference, I think you might've been just a couple points ahead. Either way, at least I'm still one place up from last season, so I must be improving! (or rng was kinder...)
Also, I just wanted to commend my opponents this season for some great games. I had a slightly -lower- win percentage this season than last, yet placed one place higher, which means that my opponents were more skilled than the season before, and in playing my matches, I found this generally to be the case. Last season there were players that I felt very confident about playing against, but this season, pretty much everyone was scary and gave me a good run for my money. In particular I'd like to mention AnnaMall and Laxadarap, who I felt improved a lot in their skill levels from last season to this one.
Now I just have to decide which mark to take... I'd been thinking one of death (pdials or mummy/rt/sor), fire (firestall), or time (ghostmare) for decks with good win rates, but after losing to calin in the final game with death, I'm kind of soured on that element :p I had a lot of good wins with firestall when playing shardless matches, so I think I'll get a fire mark. And a foil chimera! It will look very sexy in my instosis deck, until 1.32...
