Game 1: We banned time, water, and shards.  Fortunately I got a lucky bonewall topdeck against his lucky mutants.
Game 2: We banned shards, shields, and black hole.  Nymph Queen spam > 1 pend draw.  Amazingly, he still came within 1 turn of killing me with that deck, even with that bad draw.
