I don't know what the organizer/SG's decision's going to be, but they're probably going to take out the last match out, since it's not supposed to exist in the first place.

Just consider this case:

A and B already had 6 matches, where A won all 6 games. They didn't know about the rules and played extra 6 games, where B won all 6 games. Would it make sense for the organizer to decide that A won 3 games and B won 3 in the end?
