Joined early = 3 months to play 30 matches = 30 matches/3 months = 10 matches/month
Joined late   = 1 month to play 10 matches = 10 matches/month

Looks fair enough to me. Mind you, I think late joiners still need to play 30 matches in order to qualify for rewards.

Late joiners still need 30 matches to qualify for rewards in order to keep things fair for all participants -- we only decreased the number of matches they needed to avoid a ban from the next season.

It seems i have been banned. I have a valid reason for not reaching my minimum requirement.

My computer crashed and wouldn't start back up so my parents offed the Internet until we got another computer.  I actually just started playing Elements again about a week or 2 ago when I got the new computer.

Also, what is Trials? May I have a link so i can join that? (if i can)

Sorry, but rules are rules

It's essentially impossible to access the "validity" of one's reasons in an anonymous Internet community like this one without getting into major breaches of privacy. Also, if we did make exceptions, then everyone else who failed to reach the minimum match requirement could also theoretically come up with "valid reasons" and make the rule completely useless.

Sometimes real life just does things to annoy us, and although I feel sympathy for your situation, I can't repeal your ban. Do note that this ban only applies to the next season of Leagues and is not connected to the PvP Parasite System, so you're free to join any other PvP Events in the mean time.

Side note: Trials (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,184.0.html) is the PvP Event used to determine the next set of Masters, and has already started.
