Elements PvP League 2/2014 - General Discussion

Hey people. Well I don't really know if this is the right place to post this but if it's not good it's easy to move it.

This is a compilation of game ideas that is formed to fit Bl and Cl. If you have any idea feel free to post it and I'll add it in this post.

Spoiler for game idea 1 made by Odii:

• Each player chooses 4 elements that they then send to their opponent. These are the only elements your opponent is allowed to play.
  
• You may not use the same combination of elements more than once.

Spoiler for game idea 2 made by Me ( CL recommended ):

• Only rare creatures allowed. ( Pharaoh, Squid, Nymphs, Foil chimera )
• Deck ideas: Nymph tears, fractal,pu, nova, aflax  etc
• This one is highly recommended for CL since it's not noob friendly..

• Each player chooses 5 elements for their opponent. Those are the only elements that player is allowed to play.
• Only trios allowed.

• All rares are banned but weapons.
• All decks must be 30 cards.

• before each match, both players submit 2 elements to a third person, who reveals the chosen elements to the other player (eg, player A submits and to a third person who says those elements to player B. Player B chooses and to the third person who tells those elements to player A)
• you can only use the elements chosen by the opponent
• no monos

• Both players build 60 card decks with any card except pillars/pends.  All the cards in those 2 decks are banned.
• Every game you pick 2 elements for your opponent, your opponents deck must contain 50% of each of the picked elements.
• You can't pick same element twice.

• In addition to the tourney rules:
  
  • your decks can't be over 40 cards
  • at least 5 elements must be used
  • Quantum pillar, Immo and Nova are banned
  • your deck must contain 6 Short bows

• the total quanta cost of your cards cannot exceed your deck size +10.

• A:  Shards allowed.
• B: certain card bans. Each opponent may choose some cards that aren't allowed to be played.
• C: Only X upped cards allowed ( Only CL )
• D: Only monos,duos,trios,quarters,bows ( trios use to be the most funny ones.

One that I enjoy:

So basically, your opponent chooses the elements you use. It creates some interesting combinations and decks (air earth anyone?)

I can confirm this. Here is a sample, after a quick look in past BL topics:

Rules: We both build a 60 card "deck" with any cards except pillars/pends. Then, all the cards in those 2 decks are banned.

Each game, we both named the two elements that the other player had to use. the decks had to be 50-50 with cards from those elements. Then we named 3 cards from each element that was banned. No elements that had been used before were allowed to be used again, so after the 3 game, all 12 elements had been used.

Todays rules, a more hardcore variant of last tournament: 5 Elements or more. Quantum pillar, Immo and Nova banned. Must have 6 Short bows in deck. Max of 40 cards.

Sorry, but the ideas from me are wrong. The first one is actually supposed to be 2 different ideas/rulesets. And these ideas were copy/pasted from a BL thread, so when I said 'latest' tourney, it was latest in relation to the BL post, I could go look up the specific tourney later.
