Some close, heart-pounding games there

Game 1: Got all entropy stuff, but no darkness - was easily overwhelmed
Game 2: Won with 15 hp left. I got a -perfect- hand this game. Enough pends to get early devs combined with early lycans and a pretty steady stream of other creatures that overpowered his liquid dragons. AND, a lucky full-nightmare chain was the cherry on top.
Game 3: Not a bad hand, still got out stuff pretty early, but no nightmares to save me.

My dagger was always stolen.

another match another hard counter I hate not being able to change decks during matches but now correct me if i'm wrong i get 6 upps next round only positive to come out of this round

Game 1 (WIN): Early OE + Fog kept my health high, damage was slow but steady.
Game 2 (LOSS): Mid game OE, no Fog till 17 cards in. Too many dragons for me to handle.
Game 3 (WIN): Very similar to game 1.

Read the Title of this thread (says round 1).  Each game you play does not count as a round.  It is stated that you can play up to 4 matches In a round obviously drawing a line between matches and rounds.  I honestly don't see how these could be confused.

This makes treebeards last 2 decks illegal (however he lost all matches so it doesn't really matter.
On the other hand, fippe, would lose his lost game vs. cal (no issue there) his won game vs. treebeard (treebeard wins the game), and in his game vs. Megron, both used illegal decks.  This will count as a loss for them both (if you don't read rules/ask for clarification, tough luck).

7. AFTER DUELS
Winner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went. Both the winner and the loser are required to post their decks..

The loser has to chose 2 of his used cards (non-Pillar) of which he had at least 3 copies in the deck, those cards will be permanently locked for him and may not be used anymore in deck building.
In exchange, the loser may permanently use 1 additional upgraded card.
If the loser doesn't choose 2 cards, the element of the used Mark gets permanently locked.

Ok, reverted OP to what should have been the original post before I came in derping everything up.  (I say should, since I used lazarus, and everything looks right).

It makes a lot more sense in the deckbuilding section.  What is the purpose for the "In exchange, the loser may permanently use 1 additional upgraded card." clause remaining under "7. After Duels" now that it is under deck building?  (If there is a purpose, I'm not seeing it.)

When I took the format from Kaker it was there iirc, and I didn't think to change it.

Game 1: Didn't knew he hes only Lobo+PUs for damage, played in a rush, lost.
Game 2: Kept graboid burrowed, but he kept chaining those dims, had 2 graboids in last 4 cards so came 2 damage short(mutations also sucked).

My predictions were right: immolation, minor PC, graboids and mutation. Except that I also expected EQ (again...) but it never came.

Also, thoughts on removing the loss upgrades every round?  We will get to fully upped decks pretty soon.  Thoughts on this? 10 rounds with all wins is 10 ups, 10 rounds with 2 losses a round is 30 :F.

I think discarding 2 cards balances the 1 extra upgrade enough. Don't change it (saying it as someone who didn't lose )
Remember that more ups = nearly twice as discards = more predictable gameplay.
