At first, we thought we were alone.
Then we heard the sounds. Little crawling, skittering noises that seemed so close. We could not see them in the darkness, and we were afraid.
Then our eyes adjusted, and we saw them. All that had survived whatever disaster ruined this place, it seems, were these small, stinking, nightmare looking creatures, crawling, skittering, watching. We know they can die, Space Trooper Russian was brave enough to grab one once he saw it clearly and crush it in his webbed fingers... but how can we destroy the ones we can't see?
Design- Cloak means the card, not the effect. Neither Ruin Roach nor Skittering Sounds can gain its buff from Skittering Sounds' effect.
- Skittering Sounds' card text says 'Other Creatures.' This means NOT NAMED Skittering Sounds. If you have 3 Skittering Sounds and an Arctic Octopus on the middle row, only the Arctic Octopus will be invisible. Ruin Roach can be made invisible by Skittering Sounds, but will not gain its bonus.
- Effect is removed by all the same cards which remove Cloak.
- Easier to remove than Cloak, does not cover permanents, usually only covers 4 creatures and only for 2 turns, so although has a small creature which lingers after the effect, cost is cheaper.
