Also a good way to up your post count, the off-topic discussion section. Beware, though, Mr. Bullet, Singular. The Forum Games section does not add to your post count. That is a mistake that I made early and got hit hard. (About 300 posts or so, off the top of my head.)

Edit: And, it clogs up your 'new replies' button like no other. So pick and choose.

Click on Profile, then Forum Profile, then you should see a thing at the top where you can choose a picture.
