Welcome Brent! One way to get more comfortable with the forums is using them and chat for deckbuilding if you like PvE or tournament if you like PvP

I may have forgotten a comma or two, i meant using chat and forums at any time, and to go to the deckbuilding part of the forums if you like pve or to the tournaments and all that pvp stuff if you like pvp. The point is, always try to use the forums for what you find fun or for help
