Wow, thanks for all the info. I guess I know what I'm doing next.
Shards are practically necessary if you want to farm the Platinum League in the Arena. There might be a few decks that might do that without using rares but I can't think of one and i seriously doubt it. Grinding AI4 and Silver is mostly intended to have fun and to get rares and electrum in order to fight False Gods and Gold or Platinum Arena.
In my opinion, the difficulty level of Gold is not so much inferior to Platinum, thus I hardly play in the Gold Arena since Platinum is much more economically rewarding.
The same goes for the False Gods: they are just too time consuming and without the certainty of beating them or winning a card from the special spin, they are not worth the effort. Fight them if you like a challenge, but it's much more convenient to farm AI4 for the upgraded cards, in my opinion. With my SoB Air rush deck I usually beat them in 6 rounds, 70 seconds per game in average.
All you need to collect the rare cards and a earn a lot of Electrum are 3 decks:
- The unupped one with which you start to farm Bronze and AI3.
I had Psiontal that I successively upgraded to farm Silver. It was very effective as unupped, it became great when upped. - The upped or semi-upped one that you create to farm Silver and AI4.
After upgrading Psiontal I wanted a faster and funnier deck, so I formed the SoB Air Rush. It wasn't really necessary, but I wanted to try something different while reducing the duration of each game. I started it with 4 SoFree and it worked fine, but when I earned 6 it was MUCH better. - The upped one with shards and rares to farm Platinum.
I started with the relatively cheap and rareless "Limitless Speed OTK" to farm False Gods and it served me well, but it doesn't work so greatly in Platinum (although is not even too bad) so I formed Poison Dial. That's actually the deck I use the most, since I farm Platinum most of the times now.
Those are my suggestions
