I'm a new player from Fort Worth, Texas. I saw a card-based game on Facebook, but it was lame, so I Googled for a better one. Here I am.
Stupid newbie question: How do I attack a creature in the game?
The game automatically attacks the other player, but I can't find a way to attack the AI's creatures. This, however, does not stop the AI from attacking mine, which is most annoying. I have tried clicking on my creatures and on my opponent's creatures, but never seem to get an option to target one of them. Please help!

You can't have creatures attack other creatures except through abilities :3

You can't have creatures attack other creatures except through abilities :3

Just go through the bazaar. Creatures that have targeting abilities that are buyable and have the capability to deal damage or kill are:
Virus
Parasite
Toadfish
Otyugh
Scarab
Mind Flayer
Iridium Warden
Maxwell's Demon

Maybe by starting with the basics: if you move your mouse pointer over a creature card there is a short description of what ability this creature has.
They are all different and depend on the card.
Usually activating these abilities has a cost in a specific element (e.g. 2 :entropy :entropy - it's also written on the card). When you can effort activating the ability the border of the card changes color and when you click it, it will activate the ability and you have usually to click a target.
Maybe reading a bit in the Wiki (http://elementscommunity.org/wiki/Category:Basics) will help too.

It's all good. I'm used to Magic: the Gathering, in which you can select a creature to attack, and other card games in which each card attacks a creature automatically. I did not realize that targeting other cards was a special ability. ddevans96 cleared that up for me. Thanks!

I just saw your link for OTK deck building. I've seen the abbreviation OTK before, but I didn't understand it until now. It's an interesting concept. Once I get more cards and cash built, I think I'll check it out to see how it works for me.
It's very fun, and quite frankly, just awesome. The ability to go from your opponent gloating to them reading a losing screen is simply amazing. Definitely look into it some time.

with photobucket, there should be a box labled IMG Code, just copy that and paste it into a reply
