Hi everyone. I'm Roberto, an italian player who discovered this game ages ago, in the era of the 2-turn Sundial, when there existed only 10 False Gods and there were no Alchemy Spell Cards. Can't remember how I found out about Elements, most likely I was looking for a nice free online CCG, anyway I fell in love with it pretty fast. I ragequitted when my fabulous Rainbow deck, which I was using since AI3 and slowly upgradind by grindind False Gods, was destroyed by the Sundial nerf. Some times ago I saw the game on Kongregate, and felt the urge to play again. What a nice surprise! No more t50, new AI to battle, a whole new pvp system, the oracle, new cards everywhere! So I rebuilt my old deck and started playing again; by tweaking it a little, my Good Ol' Half-Upped Rainbow revealed its true potential: farming Platinum decks. Then I looked for a wiki to help me, and from the wiki I came to the forum. This was about a month ago. I was still around level 20 at the time, now I'm level 42 and have got some nice upgraded cards and a handful of rares [no Nymphs, however]. In the past weeks I read most of the forum, but never felt the urge to join; tonight however a nice idea for a deck I never saw came to my mind, and I'm here to share it and let everyone criticize. Obviously I'm not here to post my idea and then vanish, though what makes me actively join this community is the need of some constructive criticism about this very deck.

What sort of rainbow deck is it?
My 3 game-modification principles:
1. If it ain't broke, don't wreck it.
2. Simple fixes for simple problems.
3. Remember to fill in the holes.

Thank you for your greeting!

Currently, the deck is this one:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5c6 5c6 5f8 5f8 5fa 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 5up 61t 61t 61t 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rq 6s2 6u6 717 717 74b 77f 7gv 7k2 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q7 8ps

However, every now and then I modify it a little. Adding a Pharaoh and a 2nd SoR, throwing in a Purify, adding another Hourglass/Steal/Dimensional Shield/Otyugh... anyway, the basic build is Otyugh, Ulitharid, Druid, FFQueen, Anubis, Golem, Pulverizer, Graveyard, Bond, Rain of Fire, Steal, Dimensional Shield, Hourglass, Sundial, Miracle, Quantum Pillar. I started using this since when I picked the Pulverizer as my bonus rare. The idea was to build a strong, reliable deck. I never liked fast rushes with 10% winning percentages, I prefer slow behemoths to glass cannons. By trying over and over I found a good balance between damage, draw power and defense. It could seem like there are too few creatures, but if you know 'em and play tactically they're enough. I know I should upgrade Rain of Fire, but I'm currently upping cards for other decks. Anyway, this deck nets me something like 40-50% wins on Platinum, 60-70% on Gold, a little more on Silver, and obviously 99.9% on Bronze. It used to work like a charm against False Gods in the past, but most of the new ones eat me alive when I try now.

Edit: if Shard of Focus gets the nerf it needs, then this deck will win even more consistently against Gold and Platinum.
