I started playing a few weeks ago and really enjoy the game. I have built up a few decks (monodark, essential HB farmer, adrenaline-vampire, firefly queen) and currently on a grind for 4,500 electrum to finish out a Limitless Speed FG deck.  I am hoping the monotony lessens up a bit at that point when I can start winning some decent cards. :)

The ability to grind FG's is where the feeling of needing to grind to get anywhere eased up.  Soon after I was able to build some good Arena grinders which lead to better FG decks etc.

Well I ended up finishing the Limitless Speed deck and a RoL/Hope deck for FG grinding... and I'm not really seeing the time cost/benefit work out. Still feels extraordinarily grind-focused to me.  :(  Guess it's not my cup of tea! Oh well.

Well, you might not win a lot of FG games, but you can get electrum from selling upped cards that you win. Most of the money I make comes from the cards, not the actual games. And there are PvP events, including weekly tournaments, that you can join if you don't feel like grinding all the time!

i'm new as well and also using limitless speed. my best suggestion to you to help you along would be to figure out which decks you can beat and which ones to skip. that will speed it up a lot. also sell the upped cards you win to help you get electrum.
