Since nobody else has mentioned it yet: one of the most effective ways of starting out is using the oracle: if you know the FG your facing, most have an unupped deck you can use to beat them.  Check out this wiki article: http://elementscommunity.org/wiki/decks/anti-false-god-decks/oracle-false-god-counters/  All you need is a little luck and you can win cards, and at a tad over 1k electrum per, you can get instosis pretty quickly if you combine it with regular farming, like LA (as ralouf posted)

Sorry...just a question to anyone who want's to answer really.

Arena..Is it worth it? I've won the Bronze league and the prize seemed worth it on a newbie level (Got a trident I think?) but is it worth just grinding until everythings upped then playing it or just keep trying with this mono deck I have?

Just don't want to waste my time is all.

I put this mono deck on the Arena aswell but it's just getting battered as the Oracles card was awful and I think the AI's probably playing it wrong =/ it's not doing any harm though I don't think and I can't seem to remove it so w/e lol. Is it worth having a deck in the Arena though? If I get a card that'll fit into this deck that is.

Ok: posting cards in the arena really does nothing, if your get highly ranked decks, like top 10, you may make a couple hundred electrum in a couple days.  I do it, just because its fun to see how it happens, but there is basically no gain.

Playing arena on the other hand is useful.  If you get upped decks, which you don't have yet, silver is more effective than ai3, and you get rares for spins.  Bronze is used by some people to get rares, as the decks are usually easy to beat.  Platinum and gold are where you get money: Eming a plat deck is about 650 electrum a game, (eming the top 5 decks nets about 5k: amazing feeling) but these farming decks are 100% upped, and 90% of them have rares, which you have to grind for in the first place.

As far as the arena goes, I've never liked farming the bronze league, as it's so difficult to get all those consecutive wins. Furthermore, it's the only league that gives you a smaller electrum award than what you paid when you win. I've only really seen benefits when I started farming gold and silver leagues, but that usually requires an upgraded deck to do so successfully.

Putting any deck in the arena is usually my take on things. If it loses it doesn't affect score, and if it wins, some extra electrum. Since I don't have the collection of cards to make competitive arena decks, it's usually around for me to make some loose change. XD

That link on your first post is awesome, cheers for that.

Thanks for the advice about Arena's aswell. Like I said, I don't want to be wasting my time bashing arena when my cards are unupped if it's not worth it. Thanks

Yeah, the rares are good but other than that it doesnt seem worth it whilst my decks unupped.

And, I don't wish to brag but I made quite a bit on the Arena already...4 Electrum...possible 5 but like I said I dont want to brag about my achievements all over the forums =D

I'm joking, before you troll me... :)

EDIT: fail quote, so I'm just going to edit out the "quote" directions.

Thanks lol, actually had to go and google it to find it >.< Another thing: you seem experienced enough (lobos) but in case you didnt know, Em-ing doubles how much money you make in all game modes except pvp (still increases it).  Money is actually calculated based on your hp in tiers of ten, and if your hp is above 100, via sod or stone skin, then you will make even more money per win/em.
