Hello everyone. Newby here. I'm running a purely Light deck right now, but thats probably just for farming ai3. I hope to eventually build a good fire/light deck. So hopefully someone has some good recommendations out there for that sort of thing. So far, I'm liking the pure light deck.

Welcome to the forums, the best part of the game!

heh, you will be hated in tournaments and PVP events if you run too much Fire Stalls. They are wasy to build, just 6 fire bolts, a pair of fire shields, some Deflags, a couple of Rain of Fires, 6 sanctuaries, a pair of Miracles (rare cards, if you have them they are nice) and make a ~40 card deck (enough to make your opponent deck out). They are slow though.

Well, as you proclame yourself Newbie, I will lead you to the Tutorial Section, where you will find some useful and little-ish guides, like "9 tips for better deck building" and "5 things every Elements playet must know". Also, don't miss "1.29 tutorial: Become Ritch the fun way!" by Xeno and the feedback to every tutorial, which can be even more useful than the tutorial itself.

Again welcome, and don't miss entering to the Community Chat (upper right corner) to have fun with everyone and ask anything you may need or want!

Thanks for your kindness. I've actually gone through quite a few of the tutorials already. And yes, PVP 1 is actually a much better way to make money, and get cards than ai3, but I don't have the strongest deck for pvp right now. I win 3/5 games, so I usually alternate between PVP1 and ai3. I have to say I'm getting sick of Poison, Parallel Universe, and when I was experimenting with White/Blue/Green the Otyugh really got on my nerves. But so far, I think I'm doing well.

This is the deck I'm using against ai3 now, thanks to the suggestions from Chapuz. I'm liking it so far.

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f8 5f8 5gi 5gi 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l9 5la 5la 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lh 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 7jp 8pq

Welcome to the forums, the best part of the game!

heh, you will be hated in tournaments and PVP events if you run too much Fire Stalls.

I got my first hate message in PVP today. I guess you were right about that. Apparently it's unfair for a person to have six Fire Bolts?

My current AI3 and PVP1 Deck:

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f8 5f8 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5l9 5l9 5l9 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lh 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 7jp 8pq

Okay, so this isn't a good deck against the Mindgate Control deck... :P

Apparently, it's also not good against the Bone Shield/Boneyard/Schroedinger's Cat deck either.

When you play against those, save your firebolts until you have 75 quanta.  If you use 5 on the opponents health, they will die.

Yeah, I started losing with that deck, quite badly. I'm not sure if I was just facing against some specialized decks or if it was just a bad deck. I went from 1100 to 860 electrum in a few hands, against both pvp1 and ai3. And I was hoping to upgrade another card today.

I went back to a simpler build, but I still don't like it as much... Will try to play it a different way.

Ah, cool... Thanks. :)

Here's what I'm using now: At least for ai3 mining.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f8 5f8 5gi 5gi 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l9 5la 5la 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lh 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 7jp 8pq

Edit: That doesn't work too well either. I'm used to a winning streak of 5 or 6 against ai3. With the fire and light decks, I keep losing after about 2. I probably don't have the right mix of quanta/spell, yet. But I'm working on it.

Going back to this for ai3 farming.

That  :light :fire deck has quanta issues: You need both and you have high chances of not getting a single pillar from an element. I may recommend you a build like THIS ONE. You can run Phoenixes instead of Fahrenheits.

Yeah, I saw that one.... Led to a modification of my deck to this one. Which seems to be doing relatively well. 50% wins in PVP 1 so far, but I'm still testing.

Why Photons and that Foreveralone light pillar? Also, a pair of RoFs are good to support CC and you can also use more Fire Bolts in your opponent.
