Well met Elements Community!

I have now played very actively for a couple of weeks and I feel the time is right for an introduction.

I was looking for a free card game with an element of fantasy. And that lead me on a road towards ETG.

Here is a short walkthough of how my deck(s) evolved:
I started with an aether deck, but it didn't really feel right and I reset the account to fire. I then created an immolation deck with photons, fire spirits and phoenix'.
I then got stomped every time I met a Psion deck(I was playing PVP I at this moment). I then decided to create such a deck and I worked a bit better than the immolation.
After this I have been lurking in the chat and have been trying some of the recommended forum decks.
I first used unupped(and rareless) Firecell to farm FGs with a lot of success. Then I used the FEVER deck (semi upped) to start getting some shards from bronze.
I am now using a fully upped PoisonDial to farm platinum and I would love to experience some tougher challenges.

I am having fun with the game and I am looking forward to what the future brings!

Welcome jakz, and yeah playing is only a small part of the game. And I can ensure you that the forum can be much more challenging and in more different ways than just deck building skill. So looking forward to see you in an event

Yeah I am looking forward to entering some tourneys. That's gonna be fun. I also looked a bit at that War7, but I couldn't really figure out the rules etc.

There are weekly PvP tournaments held on a Saturday at various times each week. They're mostly unupped but once a month (ish) there is an upped one. The rules vary for each tournament. The only restriction is that you must have a minimum of 10 posts, which is easy to do without spamming posts. Other than that, just show up, play fair and possibly win some prizes. The prizes in question range from 1000 to 7000 + a nymph/mark + a forum icon.

War is the biggest PvP event and happens every couple of months. Its too late to join this war but if you can wait it out then you can join next time.

There are other PvP of varying size but I'm not an expert on these. Just look in the right section on the forums for more info.
