About your deck... Looks pretty cool, I think any "improvement" will just turn it over into a regular liferush, so I say you keep it that way!
IDK anything at all about PvP, in nearly a year of playing elements I haven't ever regularly PvP'd, but I can give you some advice about FG's
My personal favourite is RoL/Hope: 6xUpgraded Photons (Ray of Light) 2xLight Dragon 4xHope 4-5xFractal 2-3xLobotomizer 10-14xAether Pillars, Mark of Aether.

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14533.0.html)'s a good starting point. You have no breakdown of after-1.25 gods, but it helps most of the time... It even has an upgrade path in there
If you get bored of that, you could try Pestal (Upped Devourers *Pests*+Fractal). My "optimus" build is 6xDevourers, 2xVampires, 2xSteal, 2xDusk Mantle, 2xEclipse, 2xSiphon Life, 5xFractal, 10-12xDarkness Pendulums and 3-4xShard of Gratitude, Aether mark. That one needs to be fully upgraded to work fine, and it's ~35 cards, so you might not want to make that one yet.
