Good day to you.
I am thearchduke of glory and fame from, basically nowhere. I picked up playing elements back in Spring of 2010, and I played it to death. Back then, there weren't quite so many cards, shards and nymphs as there are now, Zanz hadn't added the Arena yet, and there were even several fewer false gods to keep it interesting. I built one of those super fat rainbow decks and farmed the crap out of FG until I got bored, and left the game. A couple months ago, I saw a post about this game somewhere (probably a reddit comment) and I thought I would drop back in.
The Fat Rainbow, for those of you wanting a walk down memory lane...
The arena really offered some new playability, as did several of the new cards, so I've been playing pretty heavily lately. I've gotten several decks built, mostly from the forums. Lately my favorite has been this simple little Chargetal deck, pretty good at AI4:
As for my life aside from Elements, I'm a lawyer in Dallas, TX with my wife and two rambunctious beagle mixes. They are wrestling with each other as I write this. Aside from Elements, I've played a couple other flash games recently, most notably Galaxy Online 2. I like tower defense, turn-based strategy, some of the clicker games, but there's definitely something special about Elements, probably because I played a lot of MtG in my mis-spent youth...
In anticipation of the great noodle / donut / bacon debate, I feel I have to choose bacon. I realize it may not endear me much to the people, but I am a proteins over carbs guy these days and noodles and donuts simply leave you puffy and flabby. I can't remember the last time I had a donut and noodles are rare (mostly in delicious Pho) but I bet I have bacon two or three times a week. Mm mm good.
Glad to meet you all! I hope to see you around on the boards more, I'm about to start a job with a long commute on a train with wifi, so I imagine I'll have more time to hang out here. See you around!
