Stalling with Dim shields is grear in PvP 1 because there are many noob decks, like pure rushes without any Permanent Control (PC, if you are not used to the forum abreviations). In bronze arena i don't know if it's so good, there are more than a few ghostmares and fire stalls.

My deck is surprisingly effective in bronze arena, both when I farm and as a arena deck.
I've been lucky enough to get a few rare spins.
But yeah, you're right, fire, dark and sometimes gravity decks give me problems.
