Most weekly tournaments are unupgraded. You will have a bunch of good unupgraded decks in an hour and a fully upgraded deck in a couple of hours.
The tournaments have a custom set of rules regarding what cards you can play each week. Just join and see how it all works.

Welcome to the Community! You can get cards pretty quickly once you have some farming decks, but you need one still. I'd say you can get several key cards in a few days and a few upgrades in a few weeks, maybe more.

The best way to farm is probably the Bronze league (in arena). There are way too many weak (or 1 hp) decks for way too much gained electrum.
