I started playing this game about two months ago because it was the daily badge on Konkregate (perhaps most popular flash gaming website). Thought about skipping it, because I considered CCG as not exactly my genre. This is perhaps due to my experience with MTG, which (at the level I experienced) was rather about spending excessive amounts of money and dealing with completely unbalanced cards (and crazy rules) than strategy. This game, however, is amazing in this regard and has no stupid gamebreakers.
Well, I did not get the badge, which was about getting 10 PVP wins. First of all, I hardly got any opponents and got bored after staring at the *please wait* screen. Second, I lost the two matches I could get because the beginner mono is just crap. Seems I should have chosen dark or aether for the beginning, these monos are a pain to fight at the start and therefore obviously good to have yourself. I suspect that you get hated for bringing them to PVP1 as compensation
. Whatever, the game caught me.
