Hey, Royalfishness, welcome to the forums!  You mentioned that you were having some trouble with Pests and was trying to play around with an Hourglass deck, but you lacked  (in PMs), so I'd thought I'd throw it out here.

I'd suggest taking a look in the decks section and find a good grinding deck that can repeatledy beat the AI3 to gain Electrum quickly.  This deck, "Time Watch", is one I tried that works pretty well, is relatively cheap and uses Hourglasses as well.
