Hello,

I started playing about a week or so ago.  Haven't done any playing against live players yet but looking forward to at some point.  I think I will be playing this for a while so I figured it would be cool to meet some other players.  This mentor program sounds awesome.  I am going to sign up for that now.

Hi RiskBreaker,

Welcome.  There are many people who are likely willing to help with your deck if you want some help.  The Elements chat room often has some (top right of the page, click chat).   Kongregate's Elements room # 1 is normally busy with many people there, and there are often those willing to help.  And Kongregate's Elements room 2 is where I hang out as is not busy there and rather free of trollish people, but some nice people do stop by.  I love helping new people with their decks.  If you would like, stop by room number 2 during my hours, and I'd be glad to help.  My main hours are Pacific Time Zone (US), weekdays, mid afternoon until usually around 7pm or so (around the time of this posting, lol).  Also some wee am hours.  (Oh, I'm not always actually there the whole time during my hours, but I do periodically check the room to see if anyone is looking for me.)

I believe that the mentor program has been closed for a while now and I wouldn't hold my breath to wait for it to start back up again... But don't let that put you off. We've still got plenty of fun stuff going on around here! Competitions, forums games, PvP events (now that PvP is working again) as well as tons of other fun stuff!

If you do need help with anything, just pop in chat and ask someone, or make a post in the right topic asking for help. The community is full of people willing to help out other players.

In-topic: I wouldn't wait for the mentor program to restart, but there are plenty of good tutorials in the tutorial board, you might want to check them out.

What deck are you running currently? I usually run a Time Dragon/Mitosis/Shard of Readiness combo, but it's not very efficient.

I bet your simply mentioning the mentor program will help revitalize it, though don't look to me for a mentorship yet. I'm due to go on vacation in a week.
