Title: Back after a couple of years
Post by: Ekki on March 13, 2017, 08:46:47 pm: Hi there, I'm Ekki (formerly Krathos, but apparently some old accounts were erased) and I spent some time in the forum back in 2011.

A week ago I decided to check the game back and apparently little has changed. It's still good to see the forum still being active, I doubt I'll spend much time here but I may lurk for a while and maybe theorycraft a couple of decks :P

Your deck helped me through a lot of False Gods. Kudos, man! :D Glad to see such a "legend" as you return, even if just for a visit. :)

Heh, glad to see it was useful. I might update it with some acceptable variations if you people agree it's worth updating, but I think I'd rather leave it be a good old legacy deck. Is it even worth farming FGs anymore? I've read plat arena is the best thing when it comes to farming, and it seemed to be a more stable and fastest income of electrum than grinding FGs, but RoL/Hope doesn't seem to be great with all the amount of annoying shards in most of them :/

I'm currently using an upped variation for arena but it's only until I cash enough electrum to build a top tier deck (it was the only deck I had upgraded on my second account, after I lost my first one).

On a side note, I'm trying to cancel the mails from notifications. Is there a way to disable them without disabling the notifications entirely?

The current top tier FG killers all abuse shards, generally. Even RoL/Hope (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/trio-quartet/new-old-times-fg-otk/) :sillyspin:
If you're looking for a list of grinders, I like this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/farming-studies-and-statistics/decks-used-against-arena-with-stats-1-32/) one, though the stats are outdated.

Yep, it doesn't. It should probably have a function to disable email notifications though. In-forum notifications are useful but getting a mail can get annoying at times. I set it up so that it sends me a weekly message, but it could have a "never" option in there too.

I just checked that. Kinda dislike how warped around shards the meta got. On top of the really long farming for electrum now we have farming for must-have-6x rares... I guess I have no choice but to jump on the bandwagon anyways though (also I kinda like SoP/RoL/Hope).

While RoL Hope isn't the most useful deck nowadays here's rep+ for when that RoL Hope deck you made was a big thing.

I'm guessing there are other players back then that would share the opinion of your deck being rather helpful so that's why +rep. Note due to my young forum age my reasoning is theoretical but (in my opinion) sound.
