-> Internet used Shrieker Rush deck!
-> You were defeated by: The Internet.

I've been playing Elements for a bit, but haven't joined these forums(heck, I JUST found them like two days ago). I started with a Darkness deck, then turned it into a Life/Dark deck, then said screw it and now I'm grinding with a Shrieker deck.

O RLY?

Zblader uses Madness Clown! Madness Clown cannot die!
Zblader uses Rol/Hope!
You were defeated welcomed by - Zblader

In all seriousness, welcome to the forums!  I suggest trying to Upgrade 6 Photons after you get enough money and making a deck similar to this one:
Code: [Select]
5la 5la 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61u 61u 61u 622 622 622 622 622 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jpIt's name? RoL/Hope.

It's great for grinding False Gods, which most likely will yield better rewards. :)

Enjoy your elements!

I need to grind electrum before doing that at all. Does an unupped version work as well?
What about the strategy? What is my main tactic?

Also: What's the point of using Aether pendulums if your mark is Aether anyway? Doesn't a Pillar work just as well?

Welcome to the forums! a completely unupped ROL/Hope wont work. strategy, fractal ROL, put up hope, fractal dragons and win. If you split pends/pillars, then you have more protection against Earthquake(they have to take out both stacks)

EDIT: Baily beat me to it  :'(

The minimum number of upgrades you can get by with is 5 Rays of Light. The basic idea is to use Fractal on your Rays of Light to multiply them, creating a massive source of Light Quanta, and in conjunction with Hope, and an absolute defense, then Fractaling your Golden Dragons for the kill. Many False Gods become incapable of damaging you once you get to a certain number of RoLs (Ray of Light); for example, Divine Glory's highest attacker is his Morning Glory for 8, which means 8 RoLs + Hope will stop him cold. Some gods have certain creature abilities that wreck your strategy, but that's where Lobotomizer comes in: With it, Osiris' Pharaohs can no longer produce the Scarabs that would have eaten all your RoLs, Elidnis cannot grow his Forest Spectres, etc. Of course, some gods are hopeless to play against; Graviton and Octane can easily kill all of your RoLs and inflict damage to you past your shield via growing creatures or Unstable Gas. But this deck is nonetheless extremely effective against Divine Glory, Osiris, and Paradox, the three False Gods that offer the best spin rates. Just be sure to have a safety net of ~800 electrum before you start grinding with it, because long losing streaks can and will happen every once in a while.

Pendulums and Pillars are used in conjunction in order to minimize the damage incurred by Quicksand, which can only target one Pillar/Pendulum stack at a time, and it really makes a difference when you're play Seism.

Above is the thread for the deck that Zblader posted, and it is extremely helpful if you are new to the deck, as it offers strategies specific to each False God, and tells you which ones are hopeless to play.

+1 Internet for the name, and have a good one around the forums and ingame.

So if I had this deck but was just grinding AI5s to get used to it, could I pass with just Pillars?

To be honest, you could grind False Gods with only pillars. The only real requirement is at least 5 Rays of Light. The Pillar/pendulum split only really helps against 2 False Gods, if I remember correctly, so you won't take a huge blow, and the chance of getting a Earth Halfblood is relatively low. You should be okay.
