Hi everyone, I've been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and I am loving it. I tried all of the elements and I must say that there is not one that i like above the others; that's the brilliant part of this game, in fact: no element is superior to one another, because each one has its strengths and its weaknesses. Same goes for strategies: each one has a counter.

One thing that I don't like about Elements is that the matches are too short. I win or lose in about 12 rounds, in average. It's all about rushing, in the end and while the possible strategies are many, only a few are effective above level 3 or silver league. I think that the most fun it's in the bronze league, as of it now.

I am playing at the moment with a Fallen Elves deck because I love the gamble of mutation. Sometimes you obtain awesome creatures (like a 11/10 Vulture with Mitosis skill that generates other Vultures with random stats and skills XD). I used a more effective vampire deck for a few days, but after a while it lost its charm :-).

Oh, I am Italian, but I am temporarily living in Dallas (Texas). Nice to meet y'all!

P.S.: I forgot to mention that the many times I used the chat to ask for information or advices, everyone was helpful and nice. This game's community is great! :-)

You will find that against fg/plat non-rush decks are usually better.
The idea of a rush is that you kill the opponent before they have a chance to do something about it;
but 200 hp, triple mark, and double draw make this difficult.

I wasn't meaning to be sneaky, you were supposed to notice it (I even had it at 2pt so you could more easily tell that they were words)

It was just so it wasn't immediately obvious and overall more work for everybody involved.

Welcome to the community!

The real fun lays in PvP. I played several years vs. AIs and it makes much more fun now when you face other people and a lot of different strategies, especially in a restricted meta. Then, you will also realize rushes aren't always the best decks. ^^

Great to see another mutants player, very nice! You see them rarely in competetive PvP, not even Team Entropy used them last War. (War is one of the major PvP Events starting in a couple of weeks) But let's see.

Feel free to take a look at the Events, I am sure you will like them.

Having more than 30 cards is disadvantageous because it means a lower percentage of your deck consists of Dimensional Shields, which are your most important card. If you have 30 cards and keep all 6 of the Dimensional Shields, you will have a much easier time chaining them together, which makes up for the cards you would have to remove. Lightning is not as useful if you have the protection of Dimensional Shields, because most of the creatures you would target with Lightning will be blocked by Dimensional Shield anyways. Exceptions would include cards like Charger and Chrysaora, but no deck can beat everything. Thus, in order to slim the deck down to 30 cards, I would remove the 4 Lightnings, 1 Pillar, and 1 Psion.

The Lightning has 2 purposes: it delays the necessity to start using the shields by getting rid of some of the creatures that the adversary puts down at the beginning, eliminates those loathsome pests and take down the Chargers. By removing them I would lose a great percentage of victories, I'm afraid. However with this deck I get crushed by almost any FG and in the Golden league, so I guess some improvements are in order. I was actually considering a radical modification like this one:
