Try http://www.imageplay.net and use the direct link after loading the picutre.

Sometimes the website used doesn't upload the picture to the forums correctly.

you are probably giving the link to the webpage, and not the link to the picture itself. If its a picture link then the web adress will have an ending like
.jpg
.gif
.png
.*insert random picture filename*

if you give us the link that you are inserting for your picture, then we can tell whats wrong better

If you want any other image from online, right-click the image and click on "copy image location"
It should copy the link for you, then paste it later
