That looked like a game in PvP. Probably a desync bug. Although, in non-PvP games, sometimes creatures and spells can become permanents, but it usually happens with yourself, not your opponent.

Could you steal that Firefly Queen? And if you did, could it generate Fireflies?
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Sorry, didn't think about stealing it.  The fight's over now. And it's during a  T50 fight. He stole an electrum hourglass from me while I'm drawing a firequeen from my deck, then my electrum hour glass appeared as a firequeen on his side. Am I making sense?

He stole it while you drew a card? Both of you acting at the same time? That shouldn't be possible... Am I misunderstanding you?

While, not exactly at the same time, he stole it as he ended his turn then the fireflyqueen card came, that's how I think it's happened. I actually noticed it in my own turn. When I saw the new card is fireflyqueen, and he have a firequeen as a permanent. It has to be mine, because when I move the mouse over it, it shows an unupgraded version, and my opponent's is upgraded.

I've already had creatures appearing in a permanent slot, seems to be a bug. It usually happens when you click  too fast on your hand cards, often at the beginning of the game when you rush out your pillars. The game then somehow mixes up the cards in your hand. I've attached a pic of a pretty confused-looking Elite-Immortal. I have no idea how that FFQ ended up on your opponents side though...
