Upgraded cards are gone

Hi

I've been playing Elements on my girlfriends computer for a few days, and got quite lucky on some rolls and managed to get 6-7 cards upgraded in these few days. When I returned to play on my own computer, I noticed the game was still running since last time I played, and I just went straight ahead and played a couple of fights. Then I realized the cards I had upgraded/won on my girlfriends computer weren't there any more. I guess my game got saved after I played on my computer again without taking into account the cards I earned on my girlfriends computer. Is there any way to revert the save, and get back all those upped cards that disappeared in an other way?

Were both computers running elements at the same time? because the game can only save one progress. What it can not do, is overwrite a session, so if your games at your gf's house were saved, the cards should be there. Or at least the electrum for them (if upgrading was the last thing you did)

No, they were not running at the same time. My progress was saved on my gfs computer, then I turned off the computer. After that, I went back to my own computer (which was allready running the game since a few games ago, when none of the games were upgraded) and played a couple of games (which got saved, and I assume overwrote everything I did at my girlfriends house).

That's exactly why you're progress wasn't saved. You left the computer on at your house, played at your girlfriends, and came back to yours, which had the saved game from before. So you lost the progress made at your girlfriends house.

If you save at the point where you didn't have upgrades everything else is lost. What you should do next time is refresh the page of the computer if you're still logged in, and made progress elsewhere.

Yes this means those upgrades are now lost forever.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I was just wondering if trhere was a way to get the cards back. This really blows!

first of all(kind of off topic), why were you playing elements at your GF's house? could you think of nothing better to do?
but more seriously yea it probably didnt save it since you had it up and it didnt save the upped cards.

Hehe, she's studying for her christmas exams, and I don't have my exams until summer, so I'm trying to do stuff that doesn't interrupt herstudying whilst still spending time with her! Anyway, thanks for the replies guys. May your Otyughs grow fat, and your fireflies many
