Syncing Kongregate account

I synced my Kongregate account (which had all my card and stuff), to a new Elements account I made. I lost all my progress this way, and now when I try to login with my Kongregate account, it says "Username not found, please try again".

No one knows how to fix this?

If I understand the Kong system right, you still have your old account, but you'll have to log in to it by using the Elements username and password, not your linked Kong account. If you've forgotten the login info, you'll either have to make a new account or appeal to Kong. We're not in control of their linking system, after all.

This hapened to me to also. I had three weeks of proggress, all the non-nymph rares, and almost 100 upgraded cards lost.

It is not LINKING the accounts it is OVERWRITING the kongregate account. If Elements change the text to 'OVERWRITE' Kongregate accoutn with Elements account that would be more accurate.
I suggest that Elements should change it to overwriting.

It doesn't overwrite anything.
What happens is Kong binds your in-game name, whatever that may be, to your Kongregate username.
Linking the accounts merely changes that binding.

If you still know your original in-game name and password, and link back, you will still have everything.
In fact, you don't even need to link it - that'll be for convenience sake.

I "Lost" my account once through linking, and that was how I got it back.

My 'original in-game name and password' was always through Kongregate.
The name is my Kong username, but the password is different.
If I try to log in to Elements using my Kong username and Kong Password it says, "Wrong password" and won't log in.
Now when I log in on Kongregate using my Kong username it shows the elements account I created and Linked which doesn't have any progress.

Apologies for using necromancy on this post but since there was the topic i didn't want to start a new post.
So the issue. After years i came back to the game but i wanted to play it from Kongregate so i linked my old elements account.
The problem is that although i can see my stats from the original account i miss come cards that i have when i join from the original elements site,
and it's not just missing cards that potentionally were not implementing since kong doesn't have full version but i have fewer number of cards than in original account
pls help

Kong etg is the same as the actual etg website. There are no cards missing from kong etg.
