I don't play PvP a lot, so is having a lot of players that do nothing and let the AI take over intentional?  I have just had 5 games in a row today where the other person did nothing and let the AI take over.

It is possible that you were playing Purple Panda Universe and they knew it so they did not even bother. jk
No really I think you might have desyned before the game even started. it happened to me in a tournament many times in a row before, though it wont happen in PvP1 too often to me....

yea alot of people in pvp just click pvp1 and then come back later to see if they won

Yes. If you time out, the AI does not take over for you on your end. On your end, you lose. On their end, they are playing the AI and you do not gain any electrum/spins/win point/score if the AI with your deck wins. If the other player is timing out very often and letting the AI take over, there is a very good chance that one of you lost the connection between both players.
