Observe: no time quanta or ways to have generated it on any side of the field, two maglinant cells being played directly from hand, all signs of it being the first turn (Which it was). Thank you. :)

um... you know you can obtain Malignant cell cards right?
it's not easy, but if you rewind cells into your opponent's deck right before you win, they appear in spins
it's a bug

Where did you get that information from o.O
Malignant cells cannot be won (anymore at least), and would turn into relics in spins even if they somehow end up in a deck.

that doesn't make sense, does that mean if he TUs my arctic squid, and I reverse time it, then I'll have a chance for arctic squid.
Also interesting because one of my WIP is a malig cell + eternity lock down

Zanz commented on this one day in chat.  Apparently no such bug which allows you to win Malignant Cells should exist, nor should anyone have any as a standalone card.  Regardless, the forums is not the place to report hackers, cheaters, etc.  After researching this matter thoroughly you should send a report of what occurred to Zanz via e-mail.  It's really the only way that such information will see daylight, but even then there's a good chance that the system will deal with the person by itself if it really is an issue.

I heard someone in chat saying one of the top 50 had done this to obtain malignant cells, and put it up on T50 for a while

That was lukce. The way in which he obtained the malignant cell is unclear, but I'm 100% sure he got his account reseted the day after. Not that he deserved it if it was a bug, just stating what happened.
