people abusing pvp fights? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=25385.msg323030#msg323030

is it possible for people to intentionally make themselves in-responsive so that the game will go to"vs CPU" mode - resulting in an easy victory and score points?
i think this because i see so many fights at the pvp (especially in the pvp upgraded cards) that goes to "vs CPU" in the very first turn with no reason...

It doesn't work that way.

Once your opponent times out and the AI takes over, it counts as a loss for them. Plus, I believe the system automatically reduces your score and electrum by the appropriate amount as an ante to prevent abuse (of course, you get the score and electrum back when you win).

I dont think this is true. i had fights with synchronization (every second fight end with this error) that in which, my opponent didnt understand how am i still chating with him as he was fighting the CPU. and i also got person messages in-game while playing CPU. so i dont think you automatically lose.

this leads me to think that most of the synchronization errors are caused because one person is fighting vs the CPU while the other still fighting the first person-
hence- every turn he gets on the board what cards his opponent played while fighting the CPU. and not him. and thats what causing all the weird stuff that happening.

An explanation of desynch:

1.  Desynch
Symptoms:  Your opponent's deck, cards, health, and quanta keep changing rapidly.  Both players disagree about what happened.
Causes:  Various reasons.  If you lag too much, the computer will take over for you, causing problems on your opponent's end.  There is also a known bug with the PVP system.  By pulling a three man monty, and challenging each other in a triangle, all sorts of no good shenanigans happen.  Other known causes of desynch include voodoo doll shenanigans, playing flying weapon with no weapon in play, using cards that require very repetitious animation, and having a tie game.  Zanz is currently working on fixing this.  If this error occurs, post here.
