I'm not sure if this is an intentional feature or not, so I'm hesitant to post it in the bugs.

When you switch tabs in Firefox (or when I do), everything stops, even if it's the AI's turn. The game only progresses when I'm on the tab. Is this intentional? The only annoying part is when the opponent has about 20 creatures and I lay a SoSa and just want to sit back, multitab, and come back afterward.

The game slows down a LOT when you tab out, but it is still moving.  If you wait long enough, it will finish its turn, but if it's got 20 creatures, it's going to be awhile :p  I don't know if it's intentional or not.

I believe the slow/near-stop of flash when the page is not in focus is part of Firefox.  It probably decreases the resources availible, so not every type of flash (youtube videos, for one) slow down.

Myes, it's a problem with Flash. It slows down or freezes when you tab out. A lot of users have been able to solve this by having the game in its own window instead of its own tab.

yeah its flash; other flash games do the same thing.  It used to be that it doesn't slow/stop, but it was changed to fix an exploit or something (so I heard).

And try what Higurashi said.  I believe that would fix things.  Unfortunately, I find it more annoying to have to switch back and forth between windows.  Maybe if you know the right keyboard shortcuts, it might not be a problem.
