As title suggests, I am unable to enter my password in the log-in page ('Username' field still works).

You mean on the login page of the game? What exactly means "unable to enter", do the asterisks not appear or what happens?

I just logged in to the game without any problem.

Asterisks did not appear.

OS was Linux. Everything is fine on Windows, so it is probably a Linux-related problem...

In that case I guess it might be difficult that someone here could help, there are too many distributions out there :)
Maybe you need just to update flash or something like that..
