How to reconnect to the game

Due to popular demand, I have made this quick little troubleshooting guide to reconnect to www.elementsthegame.com (http://www.elementsthegame.com). (Note: Rawr made a thread on this first, but I rewrote it and made it more straightforward for simplicity's sake)

If you ever see the Disconnected / Progress Lost / NOT saved! button near the top of the game screen, you have lost your connection to the server and none of your progress will be saved from the time you disconnected. So how do you get connected again? Like this:

• Click the Disconnected button to attempt to reconnect. If it eventually turns into a Confirmed button, it worked.
• If you click the button and it doesn't reconnect, open the following link in a new window or tab: http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer.html (http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer.html)
• When you've gotten the trainer to load, click back to your original window and click on the Disconnected button again, if it is still there.
• Once you are connected in your original window, you can close the new window (trainer).

Any ideas for when that doesn't work?  (I.E. it saves in the other window, but still won't reconnect in the normal one.)

Or does it actually save if it saves in the other window, and so you can just close it all?


I've actually got five tabs open in three different browsers, and the one that won't save (even after all the others have) is the one where I won TWO Arctic Squids in a few hours of grinding.  Grrrrr...

Great help, I usually go on kong, but when that doesn't work I come back to the homepage, log in, then come back to the original window at kong.

But recently (last week or so) if I let the game idle in my browser for maybe 2 minutes, it disconnects and WILL NOT reconnect unless I reload the page.

I figured Zanz is just trying to up his ad revenue.

Would have saved me losing the 12 upgraded cards I lost this afternoon!

If zanz wanted to get more money from ads, you would see ads everywhere like most of those sh*ty browser games. Consider us lucky that the only ads that we have to see is on the loading screen.
