Is 9.0 the latest flash version for Linux, or is there some other reason you're using that version? If it's not the latest version, have you tried upgrading?
Have you tried both the main site (http://www.elementsthegame.com/) and the flash object (http://www.elementsthegame.com/elementnew.swf) directly? Tried it with any extensions you might have disabled?

Dunno if any of that helps, but it's some ideas anyway.
I know at least IE6 treats the flash much better when it's in its html wrapping than when it's on its own (not that any sane person would use IE6).

Edit: I'm much too slow...

i've installed Linux (I had have Windows XP before) and now i want to play Elements but Login doesn't work. If i clicks on "Login", the game writes "Please enter your Username" although i have written it.

If i try to make a new account, back entering wished Username an Passwort, the game writes "Please enter Username" and does nothing anything.

I use Firefox 3.5.3 with Shockwave Flash 9.0 r999 on a Ubuntu Karmic Koala.

Edit: I've found the solution by myself :): Elements, The game doesn't work with Gnome Flash Player. It works with Gnu-Flash Player (I didn't try Adobe Flash Player)
