Can't log-in in my account.

So as the topic implies I can't log-in into my account. For some reason I get the "wrong password, please try again" message.
This all started last year(2010) around December. I'm quite bad with time. But anyway, I haven't logged into my account for say 1+ month/s and when I got back home - surprise.
I'm sure I'm using the right username and password. Also, my account was linked to my kongregate account.
I e-mailed customer support(game.elements@gmail.com) or at least I think it's them. Some cheery fellow from the chat told me I can e-mail that address so I did. In any case, that was 1 month ago.
From what I can gather my account is either deleted or the password is changed.
Is there any possible way I can get my account back or my password reset? I really do miss my rainbow ...

I shouldn't say I'm glad to see others in the same boat as me, but I am. That way the technical? problem(if it is a problem) won't be ignored very long. And if it is something else we'll get a reply faster...I suppose.
Really, any thoughts are welcome. I haven't the slightest idea what happened so if any of you guys has a clue - please, share.
Do they delete accounts after being inactive for a certain amount of time?
Are there backups of a player's deck or should we abandon the thought of getting our old decks back all together?
Has something like this happened before and what might the reason to all of this be, as it were?

Well Zanzarino is only developer so he is really busy.

I don't have have got much experience with this, I can't really help you, but do you write your password correctly?

Accounts which have got more than 50 wins (If I remember) game doesn't delete.

I created my account through kongregate back in the day and linked the 2 together. Same pass. So I'm 100% sure I'm writing the correct password. With or without caps lock.
And yes I have more than 50 wins. I have quite a few upgraded cards and a few shards.
If he really is the only person who can help we'll be happy to wait for him, as long as there's a spark of hope.
Just thought I should ask the community if they have any ideas, you know?

I don’t know if it will help you but maybe you type wrong the username. It’s a good idea to make copy your password in a notepad so that you never forget it and to make it just copy-paste. (Of course you will have and a back up).  If you do so there is a strong possibility to be wrong the username. If you use more then one names for the games try and the other one if it is similar.

The process is the same to log-in in the account for all. There is a possibility to type wrong with two ways the password: CAPS LOCK or not, and Eng language or not.

I know you are 100% convinced that you don't have the wrong username or password, but you should still consider that possibility and recheck it. It's far more likely that this is a human error, then it is for your account to have been mysteriously disappeared from the database. I'm not saying that the latter is impossible, I'm just saying that it's highly unlikely.

Of course, that was the first thing I checked. I've got this .txt with the passwords of my "non essential games"(and by that I mean games I haven't payed for).
In addition all of my kongregate and kongregate related games get the same password.
Still, there is that 0,1% where I might be getting the password wrong, thus my question from the first post stands.

Is there any possible way I can get my account back or my password reset?

Edit: Just so it's clear - I know technically there's no way of retrieving an account/changing a password without e-mailing Zanzarino. But I'm not the pro I'd like to think I am and I don't know everything about the game. So I turned to you folks to see if you have any ideas I haven't tried yet.

I've heard linking accounts is a bad thing to do. I don't know how, or why, but it might screw you.

Well they were linked a long time ago & I only logged in through Kongregate once - the first time I found this game.
In any case I'll just wait for a reply from the dev.
