How to activate an arena deck?

I made first time an arena deck, submitted and after it went 1-4 it went "your deck is not active rank > 500". That was 2 days ago. I tried to modify the deck and resubmitted, but nothing changed.
Using google I found something about that after some timeperiod the oracle would give me another card. But the oracle card field is empty and nothing happens.

How do I activate the deck again?

If you look in the bottom right of the MAIN MENU you will see a button marked ORACLE. Click it every day for a new card.

A deck becomes inactive when it's rank is below 500. The only way to have a deck in arena is to either hope it gets bumped above 500 due to flucuations in other deck's rankings, or build a new deck using the card the oracle gives you. You can only spin the oracle once per day.

Main menu. That did the trick. Was trying to click the "build new deck button" but it was greyed out naturally.

A new issue with this, maybe a glitch, maybe not...

I have spun "Nymph's Tears" three days in a row, and because of this, I cannot build a 'new' deck; I build a deck, but it is still inactive, because (I think) the oracle card is the same.  I've missed two days of arena now

Fair enough - that' bound to happen sometimes.

Is the rating just a Win/Loss ratio, or is there anything else I can do to up the rating?

I ask because I keep fighting enemies with just 1HP, and I wonder hos I rate below them?

Rating is influenced by W/L and thumbs ups. In Bronze, you lose 10 rating per loss, Silver you lose 20, Gold you lose 30, Plat you lose 40 (I think). The 1 HP decks are old, which means they probably have a lot of wins as well as losses.

I also hear not many decks are put into bronze anymore, making it full of 1HP decks.

As for the nymph's tears, you can't make consecutive decks out of the same oracle card.
It's to prevent the only decks ever in there being Pdials, Swallow, and Monoair.
