Connection problems, loose most my opponents to not responding

Hey guys, i have been playing for a week or so now, and couple days ago i started having connection problems.

I loose most of my opponents due to not responding and CPU takes over, and sometimes i just loose the game due to lost connection with the server.

When i do a connection check, the ping to the .nfo site is huge, to all the other servers the connection works fine. I also dont have any problems with any other websites, the problem seems to be the connection to the .nfo server.

Anyone else experiencing the same, problem? any feedback would be great, thx.

it's happening to me lately too...
like 50% of the pvp games i play end with the cpu taking over after the 60 second timeout..

Assuming both players have a stable connection, it takes ten full seconds for his actions to be sent to the server and then sent to you.  Beyond that, he is either taking his time or just quit mid-battle, probably because of your awesome drool-worthy deck.

Besides, you actually gain an advantage by playing the AI, it is not very smart at playing cards.

i had problems with pvp the other day and it still gives me issues. i had 10 straight desynchs and both of us had according to the connections no reason for it to happen. :|

Are you sure it was a desync and not just a disconnection from the server?

Desyncs are caused when faulty information is sent to the server, which means a certain combination of cards could cause it (which is why some people desync many times in a row using the same decks).  If you two were using the same decks, look out for when you two desync and see what actions you just made.  Happened again with the same actions?  If so, it may be worth reporting.

Yep, I've had more timeouts lately than ever before. Ruined my 10:1 win ratio on my other account. *sadface*
I just gave up. Playing PvP 1 was pointless when every other match or more results in either a timeout, a desync or me automagically losing from disconnecting from the server. I don't mind the first two half as much as the third which just started happening a couple days ago. Never seen it before, and suddenly it screws me over. No thanks.

we were using same deck due to it was a CL match and werent gonna change decks just cuz of desynch. it didnt matter what cards.. half time it was turn 1.. some times turn 4? it was random and really annoying. i have had maybe .. 4 full games with no problems out of over 20. none of them were server issues that i know of just the little desynch bubble and/or both of us appearing as timed out to each other and the CPU took over for each of us resulting in two diff games with diff outcomes.
the only thing i could think of was that we were playing too fast... but honestly why would that do it? we have the delays already in game..

Playing too fast won't matter at all.  If you guys were playing as fast as possible, there is still a 10 second delay.

Again, it is probably a certain set of actions you were doing that enabled the disconnection.  Perhaps wait a second between every card click?

wouldnt that = what i just said? playing too fast... that the game desynchs us.. i already wait for the thing to let me play with the current delay.. i dont usually do PVP but since i joined CL it has made it very hard to even attempt to get a match in.. im still trying to get a hold of spike again to finish our last battle :\

I gave up on pvp, no point when 80% of the games either end up in CPU taking over or desynch. there's clearly something wrong with the servers, probably too much traffic. the ping his also very high, usually have over 300ms, im based in western europe so the servers are probably in another continent.

Yes, Elements actually does have too many players right now for its servers to handle. That's why they're being improved/changed as we speak.

Trying it a few times, I usually got low numbers, even as low as mid 200's but sometimes numbers would jump up to 1400's when I refresh, with or more.

I have tried many many games, I have not had a single one get past say turn two or three without a desync. The funny thing is, usually on my opponents screen, I time out, but on mine, I am still playing them, at least for a little while.

It might be in part because my PC is slow, it takes a moment or two to load things. Especially that "saving" at the beginning of rounds, that causes my whole PC to lock up for like a 30 seconds or something.

Is there any way to disable saving at the beginning of games?
