Well I was playing on my desktop all of today and accomplished a lot, at least for myself. I got about 3000 electrum, some shards and a couple rares and built a deck. When I later went on my laptop I noticed it was in mid battle from yesterday. Thinking nothing of it, I went to the main menu and it turns out that I had nothing that I had from today. I refreshed the page, cleared cookies and all that and even went to my desktop but it looks like I'm stuck with yesterdays stats. It would be really annoying to lose all that I gained today, is there anything that can be done to get what I previously lost?

Playing on 2 cpu's causes a lot of issues... one will update but the other will not have saved your progress... It is best to close out your acct on each cpu as you finish, therefore saving your progress... sorry.

This sounds quite strange to me. I'm not a elements developer, so maybe I don't have accurate information, but I would presume it's rather improbable that information like electrum and similar is saved on the client side in the browser ?_? Especially since there is a saving/synchronization progress (with the server) on every match you play.

Saving info on the client side prevents a bit of hacking....

I wouldn't sign that - at least it depends on the implementation. My first though when I read this here (someone accidently overwrote his account...) was this sounds like a heavy security issue.. if you can so easily reset your account, you can do it not only when you win, but also when you lose.
So.. I would rather state saving clientside data is highly dangerous regarding hacking attemps.

Anyway, as I said before, not knowing how the game is developed, all of this is quite speculative.
I'm sorry I can't help with the problem.

It's because each time data is saved, it doesn't add/subtract score,  :electrum, cards, it instead re-writes the whole account each time. So the good version was saved, then you went and played on the bad account which saved the bad stuff. If you play on the good account again (assuming it's still open) you will get the good version back.
Hope I helped!  :)

Well unfortunately I closed my good version so....I think I'll just quit elements for a while. It'd be really depressing to play again after losing that much.

Actually, I changed my mind, I'll probably still play it a little on and off.

Also, the info is saved on the server side.

If all information that was posted here is correct I would suggest the developers to implement a check on the difference of the local data and the server side data before saving new information and overwriting the state. If on every game the state is updatd/saved there can't be a client-server-difference bigger than what could change in one game. (e.g. not a difference of 3000 electrum..)

There is only ONE developer of this game and it is merely a portfolio piece for his programming skills, nothing more.

It's okay, I made back what I lost and more. I couldn't stay away from elements. Anyway, thanks to all those who posted. Appreciate the help even though I didn't get what I lost back.
